With over a million guests visiting annually and more than 120 different river and land-based itineraries, Nantahala Outdoor Center (NOC) is the nation’s largest outdoor recreation company.
Designed at 829 Studios in collaboration with the exceptional talents of Justin Vinalon (Design), Mae Beerman (Strategy and UX) and Nicole Redmond (Development).
Website Design
Natural textures were thoughtfully incorporated to compliment the rustic and natural characteristics of the outdoor centers. A clean and approachable set of icons were created for the homepage and accommodations profiles.
Robust Filtering and Navigation
With over 120 land and river-based itineraries, we worked with the NOC team to establish a filtering system to support their many diverse offerings. This offered visitors a user-friendly way to discover the perfect trip for themselves.
